Since 1999 I have been heavily involved with Jabber / XMPP, an open, XML-based, real-time messaging technology that is just way cool (hey, I even have Jabber license plates!). This page contains links to some of the Jabber-related work I've done.

From 2002 to 2007 I also wrote an irregular report called the Jabber Journal.
There may be some other documentation in this area of my website, but it's probably horribly out of date so I'm deliberately not linking to it -- I'm sure you'll have more success using your favorite search engine to find what you're looking for.
I'm not a great coder, which is why you won't find much here other than a few small bots.
