Here are some miscellaneous facts about yours truly:

• I got my nickname when I worked at the IBM research labs in college: there was another Peter in the lab, so to differentiate between us my boss took to calling me "Saint Peter" (the nickname even inspired me to write a song once, kind of a cross between James Taylor's Steamroller and Professor Longhair's They Call Me Dr. Professor Longhair)
• I consider myself a female chauvinist (yes, women are superior)
• I live for Thai food and just about every Sunday I cook up a big batch for my lunches at work
• When the Yankees are in the World Series, I've been known to watch as much as 20 hours of TV a year -- when they're not, I watch a lot less
• I've never tried cigarettes, let alone any other drugs -- did I miss anything important?
• My birthday falls on the anniversary of the bombing of Nagasaki -- a rather depressing reminder every year
• I'm a big fan of Asterix, the French comic book series by Goscinny & Uderzo
• I know at least a little of Latin, ancient Greek, Dutch, Czech, and German, plus I was learning French there for a while but I've pretty much stopped that (no time!)
